How did Carlton Lassiter go demoted to traffic duty?
In the Flavor 7 finale, Harris Trout came in to investigate how the SBPD was functioning. After hearing how terribly Shawn, Gus, Juliet and Lassiter screwed up a case, Trout wasn't pleased.
The Principal covered for them and got suspended for 6 months past Trout, who then elected himself as interim chief. With his new ability, he fired Psych and he demoted Lassiter for his involvement. Juliet didn't receive whatsoever repercussions. (perhaps because Lassiter is caput detective and had more responsibility than Jules? not sure.)

Aye, Psych is off for 2 weeks due to the Olympics, but when information technology returns on 2/26, it volition keep to air on Wednesdays at 9/8C.
Psych being cancelled means that after the terminal five episodes air, no more episodes will exist made or air anymore.
